New to Arlo system, noticed when I added the account to husbands phone it logged me out

Is there a way I can be signed in on both phones at the same time so we both have access to the cameras?

Yes. Use Settings, Grant Access from the primary account holder's account to the email address of the second person. That way each account can be logged in without logging the other person out.
