I have 2 Arlo pro, the mic was working good, now both icons has disappearing, they just not appearing

Engineering has deployed a fix that should resolve this issue. Users may need to log out and log back in to their iOS app before they will see fix.

 

Please let me know if you are still experiencing any issues with the microphone icon when live streaming using the Arlo iOS mobile app.

There are at least 4 other threads .... the MIC icon was somehow deleted in the latest iOS App release the other day for the PRO camera.

It does not effect the PC usage or Android app.

 

It will be fixed ASAP... but it may take a week +/-  due to Apple's app process of aproval

You may need to Delete the App and re-download it.. You should see the icon now..

It is the 20th and the microphone icon is still missing

I have noticed that I can no longer use my mic at all, what can I do to get this working

Have you logged out of the app (Settings > Profile > Log out) and signed back in? This step will need to be completed before you will be able to see the icon.

Yes, I tried that. Then I deleted the app and reinstalled it and the microphones are back! Thanks for the help

The icon is there however it just says the microphone is disabled, you must enable it in settings first. I have enabled it, but still doesn't work.

Consider toggling the physical mute switch on your iOS device and try again. You should get a permissions request to use the microphone.

I logged out. I also deleted the app and reloaded it and I still don't have the mic icons.

I have also deleted the app and reinstalled and can't see the microphone icon? It was there when I first installed the product 2 weeks ago.

Are you logging out using this method: Settings > Profile > Log out and sign back in (swiping away the app does not sign out)? This step will need to be completed before you will be able to see the icon.

Logging out and logging back in work for all five cameras. However, if you have more than one person on the account they will need to log out of their phone/tablet to see the icon as well. Fast and easy, good thread!!

We have the microphone back on my phone but it is still missing from another device. The device has been logged out, the app was uninstalled but still no microphone. Any suggestions?

I have just completely gave up on these mics they never work, maybe once in a great while they will work.

I thought they weren't fixed either....until I realised the microphone icon only appears when the camera is on full screen view! Then it returns. Mine are working again. 

Good luck! I love these cameras so I'm thrilled this was fixed.
