How to best optimize Arlo Pro for office use? Battery down to 60% after 3 days

Hi,

I purchased two Arlo Pro cameras and installed it at my parent's furniture store.  One is installed in the office where all the payment transactions are made and the other is installed in the back warehouse where all the furniture is picked up by customers.

I installed them both on Monday at 100% battery and today (Thursday) one camera is at 60% and the other at 70%.  I have both cameras set to record in the lowest video quality possible to conserve battery and have set the recording to 10 seconds.

Is there anything else I can do?  At this rate, these cameras won't last a week without needing to be charged.  The problem with where I placed these cameras is that there's a lot of foot action as people are always in the office and warehouse and there is constant recording.

What can I do to maximize the battery life or does it make more sense to buy an Arlo Q that is wired?

Yeah, I think the Q cameras would be a better choice since they're powered. You can run the Pro cameras powered, too, but you'd have to come up with a second power supply which Netgear doesn't sell separately. A standard 2 amp supply with quality cable should work or a charger suitable for Qualcomm quick charge if you want to be able to charge the battery, too.

The Q cameras have a wider field of view, if that's important, but that also means harder to see details.
