I know they are "weather proof" but, how does cold weather affect the cameras? I'm talking single digits and below zero temps. Should the cameras be brought inside or if left outside will the extreme cold damage the camera?

No , the cameras can be left outside, tho the Pro/Pro2 will shut down at aprox -4F

 

Mine have done -12F and when they warmed up to about 0, they functioned fine
