I am curious to know about the life of the batteries. Within 1.5 days after fully charging the battery, it is completely drained. I have had my camera for 3 - 4 years. Should I purchase new batteries?

Sounds like it but I'd swap batteries between cameras first.

What would swapping batteries do? I’ve had my cams since August. Because they only send 1 power cord, I keep one plugged in at all times, but I have to switch them about every 1.5-2 days. Now we cannot order a straight port cord like what came with the cams, only the angled.

Well, the issue could be
- a failing battery
- an issue with the camera charging circuitry
- an issue with the camera placement (lots of video streaming, or lots of connection drops)
You need to sort out which of these issues it is before you will know if replacing the battery will help or not.
If you switch the battery, and the problem moves to the new camera, then you'll know it's the battery. If the problem continues, then you'll know it's not.
