Disable Alert Notifications When Home

can I disable the alerts to my mobile device when I am home, I don't need alerts every time I go in and out the door.

I don't think you can disable notifications from the app, but disabling notifications for the app in my iphone settings solves the problem.

Sounds like you need to create custom modes where some modes have notifications on and some off.  You can then use the schedule and/or geofencing to make those modes active as appropriate.
