Changing modes in the app doesn't always work

The base station on my Arlo pro system has become difficult to change modes. It seems almost random when it will work or not.

I like to disarm the system when I am working outside but it is currently a risk if I can get it back on or not? 

Can anyone give me any ideas please

Did you try restarting the base station?
