Yesterday I opened a brand new Arlo Pro (yes I know it’s been sitting around my house for years). The base station (VBM4000) connects to the internet and I can see it listed on my EERO router and as a device but I cannot discover it in my Arlo secure app. I’ve reset it several times via the hard reset on the back of the base station and tried different routers. Everytime it connects online (first and second LED are green) but I cannot get it to show up in my App.. Please help?

If the third led(camera) on the base is not constant Amber then the base is not factory reset.

Use a paper clip to operate the base rear reset button and hold until the base LEDs begins flashing Amber.

Should return to green, green, Amber led status.

Thank you for replying.

The first 2 LEDs are green, the last one (camera) is solid amber.

I've reset the unit 4 times to no avail. It was brand new in the nox when I opened it as well.

Anything else you can suggest?

I've been looking for a way to manually update the firmware, hit can't seem to find a way to remote into the unit and do that

There is no web interface for the Base station so your reliant on the arlo app.

Have you tried using a pc web browser on my.arlo.com thats connected to the the local router with Ethernet cable?
