I have 2 VMB4000 base stations and 5 VMC4030 cameras. I have been using them for several years, and there were no problems until days ago. Then the Arlo Secure app was updated, and since then I've been unable to add the devices in order to control the cameras and see video. I've tried adding the base stations using the app and the Arlo website, and the devices aren't found. I still receive notifications from the cameras. How can I add the devices? I've found no support documents that help.

My husband had the primary account and I was "secondary." I guess that's what you're describing.

Your symptoms suggest that you are using a "Friend" account (cameras shared to it), and not the original account that the cameras were installed to. Is that the case?

Yes.
One option (simplest) is for you to use your husband's Arlo credentials on your phone.
The other option is to migrate the primary account to Feed. The hack for that is to go into "add device" and start to add a Pro 5s camera. What will fail because you don't have that camera. But the workflow will migrate the account to "Feed" before you get stuck. After that you will see two home locations (regrettably both called home) in your account when you press the profile icon at the top left of the app. One is empty (since there are no cameras in your account), the other is the shared location. Rename them to prevent confusion. Then go to devices (or Feed, etc), and you will see your location name in the center of the title bar at the top. Touch it, and you'll be able to switch to the shared location.
