I have an older Pro system. They have been recording and storing the 7 days with no problems until yesterday afternoon. Now nothing is recording. I have 4 cameras set up

Tried to do the reset thing with my Arlo Pro setup... big FAIL.. I try to add back my hub and it is not found!   It has 2 green lights,, both connected to a switch and to the router itself.. still.. PC browser add hub device fails to find it.. phone app also fails to find it.

Here's another oddity...  when I first fired up the app I could see an image on the camera for a fraction of a second.. then it says Device Not Connected.

This seems intentional to me.. to drive old Free-Rolling-7-Day customers to buy new cameras that require subscription plan.

Nope, the free 7 day plan still works for others. Which LEDs are green? Did you also reset the base by holding the reset button for >10 seconds until the LEDs flashed amber? WHen you reset, did you also remove alll devices from your account? You can't add a device that's still listed in your account.

Same on my end - no recording on the older Pro cameras. It just suddenly stopped recording those cameras, but the newer doorbell (which I pay a monthly subscription for) still shows up fine.

Any recommendations?

Same here, first gen video door Bell and Arlo pro 2 cameras all went offline yesterday. I had to do a factory reset.

Hi @PurpleSavage

Are you still experiencing this symptom with missing recordings?

I have my recordings, the reason recordings were missing was as result of all my devices stating that they were all offline, yet all other IOT devices on the same network were functioning normally.

My mistakes:

Hello All.. I solved my issues with the delete all devices and hard reset option.. but only after some mistakes on my part:

1) the paperclip reset.. I should have had hub powered on the whole time and stop pressing after 10-11 seconds.. by holding reset in as I powered on.. I was doing nothing.. the hub just cold-booted

2) when I tried to add back in all devices.. I started painting at cameras.. to add teh hub I had to scroll down past all the camera families.  I thought Arlo-Pro meant any Arlo Pro device, including the hub.

3) after getting teh hub recognized under devices, my camera just kept blinking orange.  I tried all three cameras.   Then I charged them all for 2-3 hours and they worked.. one by one powering them on showed the blinking blue led.   Since the event where all three cameras failed to connect on the same day happened after they were allegedly charged.. I figured they must have ample battery... they did not.

Hope my mistakes help others avoid doing the same.
