I installed a camera and the Wasserstein outdoor power supply. The signal strength display shows only 1 dot but the picture is good and reponds to the commands but will not turn on the external power supply. Is this because I left the battery in the camera? When brought closer to the ARLO hub the power supply is recognized and the camera works properly. Should I get an additional WiFi extender?

rrbd,
We don't recommend you use any third-party accessories with your Arlo cameras. For outdoor user, we recommend using the VMA4900 outdoor power adapter, designed for use with compatible Arlo cameras.
