Running the same config - did not touch anything - for about 5 days the base station shows as offline, although connected to the internet. Also, I cannot connect to arlo.netgear.com from my browser. Tried to open ports manually on the router. But as mentioned above, it worked fine until 5 days ago and I haven't changed the config. What can I do to be able to reconnect to arlo.netgear.com from home?

I am using Safari on Mac and iPhone. I simply cannot open the page arlo.netgear.com ... it is blocked. This also prevents the arlo base station from logging on I suppose ... there must be some settings to be made on the Router

Are you using Ksspersky Internet Security? If you are go into settings- protection - web anti-virus - advanced settings - configure trusted URLs and add http://arlo.netgear.com

Hippie this helps.

I am using Avast Security (on Mac OS) but it won't let me add the URL to their list, as it cannot access the URL http://arlo.netgear.com ... which is the problem in first place. I cannot get to that website via my router. I am using a TP Link router with fibre connection. As I said, it was working fine until a few days ago and now suddenly I cannot connect to http://arlo.netgear.com – neither from my Mac or iPhone  – via my Router

Are you able to connect using your phones data connection via the Arlo mobile app? Is this only happening when connected to your network using the web client?

Yes, I can connect from my phone when using a 4G data connection. I cannot connect when using the WiFi from my Router at home. I also contacted the ISP (which is http://cisp.co.za) and asked them whether arlo.netgear.com may have been blacklisted on their servers ... waiting for their reply.

I can also connect to arlo.netgear.com when using a VPN and making it look like I am connecting from Germany ... so whio needs to unblock arlo.netgear.com to be accessible via my ISP http://cisp.co.za from South Africa? My ISP or Netgear?
