Hi all,

Using (5) Arlo Pro cameras, everything functions pretty well, been using iPhone app. Problem appears on Netgear [https://arlo.netgear.com/#/cameras] where the camera controls are all black. The controls function when hovering the mouse over their location (all cams). I think perhaps it is a font size/color issue, as I am using a Windows 7 x64 high-contrast color scheme (175% font scaling).

I've experimented with (Firefox browser) color modifications, however nothing has given a hint of solving the visibility issue.

Attached a screenshot...

Any suggestions appreciated!

Is there a need for the large font and hi-contrast.... or can you use default and scale up  bit using CTRL and +

@JamesC, would this be a good corner case for engineers to work with this user to enhance useability for all users?

This appears to be a browser setting with Firefox causing an issue. I've tested all of the High Contrast themes for Windows and none of them produced results like the screenshot in the original post.

Do you have any addons enabled within Firefox that change colors or themes?

No add-ons in FireFox; I had misc background shading disapper in Chrome as well (on a survey form, when using the high contrast the page didn't shade a selected number's background-stayed black)... I changed to a 'standard' Win color scheme and the survey's number backgrounds showed up...

So, back to Arlo site and same thing. Installed latest Adobe Flash player update... same appearance. I tries IE, Chrome, and Firefox. So Firefox asks permission to run flash... Anyway, I set IE to be default browser; it indicated I needed to install Adobe update... So I did, again... IE won't let me view cameras live at all, continually says I need latest flash player... even though the player (update) was successfully installed (you know, opens step 3 and it shoes a rainbow-haired girl with the white glasses and offers up more software).

BOTTOM LINE: I think it is a Netgear programming issue with utilizing Adobe Flash Player on the web interface (or perhaps the cameras need a tweak, or both).

iOS app works fine.

It sounds to me like it's a localized problem with your customized settings for your eyesight. JamesC has tried your settings and none of the rest of us, using standard settings, has a problem. Whether it's a Windows 7 issue or what, I can't speculate. It may be best to contact support about this using the Contact Support button at the bottom here and then again on the new page.
