With the original Arlo camera, you could set the optional adjustable camera mount on a shelf or ledge and point the camera down at a substantial angle. You did not even have to attach the base of the mount to the shelf.
With the new Arlo Pro, you can barely point the camera down at all because of where they put the attachment bolt. This means you must attach the mount vertically to a wall, making it virtually a permanent mount. No longer can I easily reposition the camera.
Has anyone else noticed this issue?
Are there any different mounts available or planned that would address the issue?

Even with the table mount, you can only point the camera down a little bit. In some cases, it won't be enough. I know because I have the table mount.

Tom06,
It sounds like the issue you are having is due to the mount not being anchored (resulting in it falling over when the camera is angled). The adjustable mount is designed to be anchored with the included screws.
