To JamesC, please can you ask the engineering team what the F! they have been up to with the 2 firmware released since mid-May.?!

Battery life has been TERRIBLE!

Prior to mid-May I could boast to friends my security cameras lasted almost 4 months without charge. Now? Well let’s just say I charged 100% at 7pm and sitting unarmed, the cameras have went to 96% in 4 hours!

4% in 4h when unarmed FFS! What’s going on Netgear engineering?!

NEtgear’s management of this situation is incredulous.

 

Having worked in software and hardware manufacture for 15 years, I cannot believe the contempt Netgear have exhibited on their users battling with this battery drain issue.

 

Nothing is being achieved on this community site. Off to the facebook page to generate customer advocacy on this untenable situation.
