Batterie is draining faster than usual

I have almost given up using the Arlo cameras because my battery life is crap.  I need to charge them weekly and that's not possible.  They spend more time in the charger than up.  Perhaps I can set something on the cameras that will keep the charge longer?

Options to consider:

  • getting outdoor charging cable(s) that will reach the camera(s)
  • deploying a solar panel(s)
  • getting a couple spare batteries and a stand-alone charger.

Of course some of those options might not be practical for you.

 

You could also try reducing the motion detection threshold, or configure the cameras to record shorter clips.
