We have 6 arlo pro cameras at our shop. Last week the base station went offline and we couldn’t get to it for a two days. Reset the station all the camera battery’s were dead replace everyone with a new energizer 123 lithium. Base station worked for a whole day then went offline over the weekend. Reset the station and all the camera battery’s are dead on Monday. We cannot afford to keep replacing these batteries every couple of days. Is there anything we can do?

Yes, it is a know factor that if you base goes offline, you can have high battery drain as the cameras search for the base.
A couple of things can be done;
1) there are rechargable li-ion batteries that function well in the Arlo ( tenergy, approved by Arlo and others in the 3.7v li-ion aprox 700mahr category )
2) use a ups on the base to keep it online if it is a power issue ( if online then the cameras dont drain )
3) fiq out why the base goes offline if via router issues
4 ) for remote reseting, a wemo outlet allows you to power down and up a base which usu solves issue

Yes the Arlo pro cams should work fine on the 5000 base...
as to the 3000 base, if the leds , all three, are green it should be running fine...not offline?.
is this via app or browser?... can you use the other to eliminate either the app or web?
Btw, you mentioned 123 batteries... if so then you have the Arlo HD cameras which match the 3000 base... and they should work on the 5000 base too
