Arlo received factory reset request

Getting that error message from driveway camera. No one out there to hard reset it. No longer in Devices and all the footage from driveway in Feeds is gone.

Do they just spazz out on their own? It's about 8 months old.

The camera can loose sync for a number of reasons  ( tho not often in my experience ).

Can be from a power outage to base, sometimes an sw update goes bad, interference or weak signal...

 

Unfortunately the camera can not be reset remotely. It prob needs to be resync'ed to the base.

 

One of the things I've found over time is a UPS for the base unit will keep all connected during short term power outages. ( as the base will usu reset and connect and/or it can be restarted remotely )
