Open and close the battery door ( pull battery then replace ) to reset the camera

You can try and sync it  again with the power cord attached ( the Pro will run with or without the batttery installed via the power cable )

If still NG, then go to settings / camera and REMOVE DEVICE and bring back as new

Ok, I am having the same problem with one out of four of my cameras. This system is just 3 or 4 days old and I upgraded the whole system from a regular Arlo (should have kept it).

One of my cameras went offline the second day of use. I dismounted the camera and the light was flashing Amber which I read meant that the battery was dead. That did not make sense given that an hour or so before going offline the camera was at 100%. Plugged it to charge and it showed 16% on my app. Synced it and it seemed to be working fine for a bit. After completely charged I mounted the camera (up in a tree).... less than a couple of hours later, the camera is offline again.

I am utterly dissapointed and frustrated. My previous Arlo system was working flawlessly. First, the low volume on speaker and now this. Given that mounting this cameras was a pain in the a$$, I really dont want to pack the whole thing and take it back to Best Buy. In addition, I doubt that they will just exchange a single camera.

Did Netgear offer a different solution other than returning? This cameras are freaking new!

Shadowboricua,

Does the affected camera have good WiFi signal strength? If the camera is struggling to maintain it's connection with the base station this could be the reason it is draining battery/dropping offline. Consider swapping the location of the affected camera with one that is behaving correctly to further isolate the issue.

I purchased an Arlo Pro camera after calling Netgear to confirm that the Pro would work with the original base and it kept going offline. I took it back to Best Buy and got a new Pro camera and now I'm having the same issue. I think there's an issue with the Pro working with an original base, so I'm just going to take it back and get another original Arlo camera. I hate this cuz I was really looking forward to utilizing the features of the new camera. By the way, the location of this camera is closest to the base than my other cameras, so wifi signal is not the issue. I'm thoroughly disappointed, as I've wasted time and gas running around trying to make this work. Not to mention leaving the area of that camera unprotected while I do all of this. Bad job Netgear.

Tommac has been running Pro cameras on an original base with no issues, as are others. I'd try a reset on the base followed by removing all devices in Settings, My Devices and start fresh. There is no issue running the two together normally.

I had a defective camera that would fully discharged the battery and go offline. Netgear is sending me a replacement through an RMA process.
