Just started to use this camera again and it works fine when I have it plugged in and charging but the minute I unplug it from the power cord to move it to a location it says it’s offline and to connect to the internet!!! Someone help!!!

When plugged in and charging, the battery indicator in your camera settings will display charge level. Also, just try swapping batteries around.

It just shows a plug symbol while charging

That means the battery isn't being recognized for some reason. That could be due to dirty/bent contacts in the camera or on the battery, a bad camera or a bad battery. Remove the battery and have a good, hard look at things. Replace the battery while looking at the front of the camera - you should get a brief blue flash when the battery makes contact. Try wiggling/pressing on the battery while inserting, too. Swap batteries with a camera that's working, too, as I suggested before.
If all fails, open a case with support:
