Followed direction exactly. Level 1 & 2 couldn't figure it out. Exchanged system for another 3 camera pro and still won't sync. Cameras won't connect to base at all with 2 systems. HELP???

To be clear, the MODEM doesn't need the ports to be open since it's just a modem. The router is the one that needs the open ports. Since you have a new router and it seems like you wouldn't have changed settings in it, that's likely not the issue. If you really want to be sure, reset the router back to factory settings but I doubt it will change anything.

I agree. It may however be an issue with ports at the ISP level.

wanttofish has tried just about everything. What else do you think it could be?

So where does all this work leave me in regards to what would be the next step?

Until you can take the time to figure out what is unique to your home, it's hard to tell. It worked in another location so what's the issue with your home? It can be a pain turning things off, disconnecting, etc. but that's what needs to be done if you still want to pursue this system.

Can someone post basic steps to open port 80, 123 & 443.

...and it was at this point that I was able to reconnect my camera. Thanks for the thread!

It would be a router configuration.  Since you're asking the question, it's unlikely that you need to open those ports since you would have made some security changes in the router so you'd know about these things.  The other possibility is that your router is owned and configured by the ISP in which case they have to do the configuration for you.

Are you having issues using the app or a browser on a computer?  If the latter, some anti-virus software, such as BitDefender, has caused issues. Tell us more about what you're using.

Sounds like a router config issue. Most likely your firewall. Routers can be same but configuration different. Do you have a r outer config to see how it's setup?
