One of my Arlo cameras is not recording, but it will give me live videos. What can I do to get this camera to work?

Firstly check that the system mode is set to armed mode.

Check if the camera will do a live recording.

Check the motion sensor is working using the motion test utility in the camera settings.

Reset the camera by pulling the battery and power for 10sec.

Power cycle the base station.

In addition to @DannyBearAgain's suggestions:  The Arlo Pro and Pro 2 cameras came with free 7-day cloud recording.  Newer camera models (Pro 3, Pro 4, Pro 5, Ultra, Ultra 2, and Essential) do not, and require a subscription to get cloud recording. 

If you aren't certain what model you have, you can remove the camera from the housing and take out the battery.  There's a label inside.  (One caveat - the Essential models are completely sealed, so if you cannot remove the camera from the housing, then you must have an Essential, and not a Pro).
