Arlo app does not live stream or pick up motion. Signal is fine and issue with linking.

The app has a terrible time trying to live stream and doesn’t always pick up motion detection. I know it’s not the camera connection as the signal is fine. I also have issues linking another camera after I connected three other cameras.
Is anyone else having issues. I’ve had nothing but issues with these cameras and finding it was a huge waste of money. Very disappointed.

It's not always signal strength but can also be an issue with quality. Anything near the cameras or base that also uses the 2.4GHz band (doesn't have to be WiFi) can cause this. Repositioning the base and/or cameras can be useful. Bring the camera closer to the base to see if matters change.

 

It may also be useful to remove all devices from Settings, My Devices and start fresh. While it's a pain, it can clear out weirdnesses.
