Arlo Ultra how do I turn off the automatic siren?

It doesn’t work when following other posts and going through mode and editing a schedule. What am I doing wrong ??

Thanks I got this sorted. Problem was I was looking in schedule which was the mode I was on. Not in ‘armed’ which was where I was able to see it.

To make it more intuitive, I would have thought that schedule should have the same options as armed…or schedule is nested below armed. Sorted now thx.

Are you trying to acknowledge the siren or trying to disable it when motion detected.
I think in the ultra the camera siren is selectable within the camera rule.

If you look at the camera rule in the mode, you should see this:

siren.png

 

Make sure the check box isn't checked.

Hey was trying to disable the siren that is activated by motion detection. Sorted now. Thx

It's not particularly intuitive.  The hierarchy (FWIW) is

  1. geofencing
  2. schedule
  3. modes
  4. rules

geofencing engages two modes (one when you are home, the other when you are away).  One of the modes can be schedule (which technically isn't really a mode).

 

Schedule lets you schedule modes.
