My system will not play videos in either the app or in quicktime player, I have a MacBook Pro. I'm stumped about what to do, is this result of an Apple change or an Arlo change. Whoever did it has ruined  the functionality of my system. I still get notices and recording but am unable to view anything in either  the browser or quicktime player? Is there a setting or format I need to change, I haven't tweaked or change anything from the default settings.

If you download the video, does it play then??

Something is not correct in the headers of the vids, and ios seems very picky

The free VLC is available for almost any computer or phone. Off course, you have to download the video to be able to play it. The app should play it with no problem. You may need to reboot the phone and reinstall the app as well as make sure the OS is up to date.

@jguerdat @TomMac No it does not, the quicktime player isn't able to convert the download into a viewable format.
