My battery totally drained and I tried to recharge it.  All I got on my App was a plug in symbol, not the normal lightning bolt.  It doesn't seem to work.  The battery is about 16 months old.

There's an FAQ here on how to recover a totally dead battery.

The only FAQ I saw was one to remove the battery, reinstall it and try again several times. Is that the one you are talking about?
