I have read conflicting answers as to running my Arlo Pro cameras on AC current (inside) with battery installed or without. I would like to leave the battery in as a  backup if the power goes out but I'm wondering about overcharging the battery if left in continuously. Help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can run the PRO with the battery installed with the AC power... It will not damage the battery ( battery charges to 80% even tho it says 100%, 80% is a safe charge for the battery to sit at )

The external charge tube ( option accessory ) will charge to 100% when done outside of the camera
