I recently had to take my Arlo Pro system out of service for about 8 months. I did not recall seeing anything about taking it out of service and not maintaining the batteries before doing this. Now I find that I have five camera with dead batteries and despite following the suggested procedure of unplugging the camera, removing the battery, reattaching the charger, reinserting the battery and waiting - I cannot get any of the batteries to show that they are charging?

Any other suggestions of what to do? I am using the supplied charger and cord. I have spent the last two days doing the dance with these cameras trying to coax at least one of them to come up from zero.

When connected to the power cords, they all work fine. It is

Thanks

Martin

Did you do that process specified in the FAQ here about dead batteries for plugging/unplugging power multiple times to get enough charge into the battery to allow it to start charging?

Remember that the cameras will keep trying to connect to the base so will run the batteries down in short order when the base is turned off.
