I have just received a set of Arlo Pro's for Xmas. I intalled them at my cabin all work fine but the exterior camera seems cloudy (for lack of a better term). I have confirmed that plastic packing strip was removed and wiped the camera face with a microfiber cloth to remove any residue.
The roof is on the picture several feet above the camera and there is only one adjacent wall as you can see in the picture. I also confirmed that the hood is not obstructing the FOV in any way. All the indoor cams seem fine.
Weather is in the 40's and no precipitation...
Any thougths on what is casuing this?
Thanks and Happy New Year.

The cloudy appearance could be condensation. This could be caused by the change in temperature from inside to outside. You could swap locations with another camera to double check. $.02

Are you having lights or white areas in the FOV that could be reflecting back and interferring with the IR sensors or the camera's White balance. A lot has been written about this especially in regards to the Pro 2. Firstly, I would experiment with positioning. At my house I installed motion detected porch lights with strong LED bulbs to illuminate the darkness so I could get good pictures. Soon the Arlo outdoor lights will be available and they can be used to trigger on motion and turn on the light and trigger the camera to record.
Hope this helps.

When you say outside camera does that mean that it is actually outside, or pointing outside through a window?

Remove the hood, and retest.
some have posted in the past that the IR was reflecting off the hood and causing wash out of the picture
