I have had the standard arlo cams and recently upgraded to the pro's

One of my pro cameras seems to all of a sudden after about a month just go offline.  When I bring it back inside I plug it in and then it starts to charge up and at that point I then get the alerts that the battery is tired and an email, which it didn't give me before it went offline.

I let it charge to 100% then put it back outside.  A month later same thing happens again.

This camera hardly gets set off by motion and whenever I checked the battery level even days before it went offline it was at 98% or so.

Could this be a defective camera, or is something causing it to power up and stay powered up until it drains the entire battery?  I am not getting any motion warning or video recordings near the time it dies and goes offline. And the 3 other cameras have yet to be needing a charge since I got the 4 of them, and one of the other ones is in a high motion area where it's going off a lot and still at 90% charge.

It sounds more like the battery....

You can swap batteries with a working unit ( I label my packs with a sharpie ) and see if the problem follows the battery or not.

If it is the battery, you'll have to contact Netgear support for a new one.

This is what I was going to try.  It's dead at the moment just need to get the ambition to grab the ladder to take it down and charge it again
