Hi,

Unfortunately on buying my new camera, it makes a loud clicking sound constantly.

I have been through the support process and have an RMA number. The instructions say:

Pack the product securely.
Do not include manuals, software, power supplies, cables, mounting brackets or any accessory.
Do not include any Hard Disk if the RMA is for a ReadyNAS chassis.
Do not include any tray/caddie if the RMA is for a Hard Disk.
NETGEAR only replaces the defective unit and will not return other accessories.
Include your contact information with your name, address, phone number, and RMA number inside the package.
Include the details about all the relevant RMAs if several RMAs are in the same package.
Clearly write the RMA number(s) on the outside of the package you are returning.

So, do I include the battery - is that an accessory or part of the unit?

I want to avoid sending it with a battery to get a camera back without one.

Thanks,

I would just send the camera if the issue wasn't with the battery....

@NutterzUK

Are they sending the new camera first? If so wait and see what they send before shipping the defective one back. If not contact Support and ask them directly.
