Just brought the Arlo Pro system home and I was told that i could connect using a mobile hotspot

but I dont know how to do it. I am using an Android smartphone that has the hotspot turned on all the time.

I have a netgear router and a Verizon router but I dont know how to connect the base to the router and the router to the hotspot

The Arlo base needs to be plugged into either a router/modem/switch via the ethernet cable.

Not sure why if you have two existing routers you would want to use a hot spot.

I am not even sure you can connect a router wirelessly to a hot spot.

Maybe I am missing something.

One of the easiest way to hook a base unit into a hotspot is if the hot spot includes an ethenet port like some do... If not , then use a wif extender with an ethernet port ( very common )
