Arlo Pro Will Not Sync

I have 2 cameras that will not sync. They have new batteries the base has been reset. Any suggestions?

Do you see the blue LED flash when inserting the battery? DO you get the slow blue LED flash when syncing? ARe you just briefly pressing the sync button on the base instead of holding it?

Sync button on base is held at 2 seconds the camera is then held at 2 seconds. The blue light flashes slowly but never gets to the fast level of flashing.

Holding the base sync button too long causes issues. I just press briefly and release. Use 1 second or less. The camera doesn't matter - a quick press suffices.
