Hi guys - i have had an issue where the power LED remains amber and so the system does not boot up. I have read a bit about this in the community where it was deemed a hardware failure, so i went and bought a completely new Arlo Pro system (VMS4230) and have the same issue right out of the box. I have done a full power down and reset with no change...
Considering I've had this with two systems, this is just too coincidental and very frustrating so I am after any feedback or support from others that have managed to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance for your help 🙂

That's weird. Opening a case with support for the original base would be the best answer for that one. There should be no reason to have to buy a new system as long as the original is still under the 1 year warranty. If you want, exchange the new system at the store.
Just out have curiosity, have you tried plugging the bases into a different outlet?
