Like so many people I have issues with NV dropping off.  Non of the below is a permenant fix and I am completely fed up of doing one of the below just for it to last a day at best.

Can anyone offer a permenant solution?

Have tried

Resetting the whole system

Opening and closing the battery cover and reconnecting

Removing and adding cameras

Turning NV on and off

FYI version 2.4.5.835_18328 released 10/17/17

Thank you in advance.

James

If you have done the above, not much else to do.

Have you filed a trouble report with Netgear Support ( link at page bottom )

Thank you.  I have emailed off the query but have not had a response.

What is most frustrating is that so many people have teh same issue.  OPening and closing the camera as many suggest just is not a fix.

Hi James

I have exactly the same problems with NV on 3 out of 4 camera's and have also tried:

Resetting the system

Opening and closing the battery cover

Removing and adding cameras

Turning NV on and off

My cameras are placed outside and here in Denmark it is winter with temperatures between -5 and +10 degrees.
What I found out during the Christmas holidays was that when I took the cameras down and brought them inside, NV started to work again after a while. And when the cameras came outside again, NV stopped working after som hours.

My guess is that there is a production error in the cameras and I will contact the dealer where they were purchased.

Is it that night vision isn't working or that it's cold enough for the camera to turn off due to the temperature? You don't state the units (C or F) with your temperatures but they would seem to be F.  In that case, there's a good chance that the cameras are shutting down due to temps.
