I have been happily using my Arlo Pro system for several years, but I have recently move house, and I've since discovered that whereas before, no apparent problem existed, but the microphone appears to be too sensitive, because In the new place, there's a busier road than where I used to live, so the cameras keep recording nothing, wasting battery power, and sending me alerts because they heard a noise... (Just a car driving past on the road). Is there a way to tune down the sensitivity on the microphones?

FWIW, I turned off audio alerts long ago, since there's too much traffic noise in my neighborhood to make them useful.

But you can adjust the sensitivity - go into the mode you are using, and edit the rule for the camera.  https://kb.arlo.com/42/What-are-modes-and-rules-and-how-does-Arlo-use-them

Edit the problem camera’s rule contained in the mode that the base station is using. Under audio there is a sensitivity adjustment.
