I'm new to the Arlo world, having just set up my Arlo Pro system, so apologies if this question has already been asked and answered. Concerning camera operating state and camera battery usage, does the "Disarmed" Mode put the camera in the same state as selecting that Camera's ON/OFF slider to OFF in settings?

Essentially, yes. The cameras won't detect motion nor record. The camera is in sleep mode.

As a PS.. yes as mentioned, but the ON/OFF I see more as a privacy feature esp if you share the cameras with other to view.
If disarmed, they can still view...If OFF they can not
