When I plug my Arlo camera with battery into the wall via Arlo power adapter and USB cable I get an error that says, "It looks like you aren't using the Arlo power adapter. Please plug in the correct power adapter" and something about it cant charge it. I am currently living in Italy and I've tried plugging it into the wall with a European adapter (i.e. 220V) and into a transformer (i.e. 110V) and I still get the same error.

There could be a hardware problem with either the charger or the camera but first make sure the charger you're using is truly the proper Arlo one that has both 5v and 9v outputs.

Just double checked the power adapter, it has both the 5v and the 9v on it plus it says Netgear on it too. I don't see any issues with the contacts on the battery nor the camera either.

Open a case with support here for faulty hardware. In the meantime, you can use a charger that support Qualcomm Quick Charge such as those for Samsung and other recent phones. They will be marked with the 5v and 9v outputs, too. This will also tell you if it's the charger or the camera.

Don't know what you mean by another thread but I suspect you're questioning what I meant by suggesting you open a case. Theis is a user forum, not tech support so you have to go through the official support channel to get a possible resolution. Use the Contact Support link at the bottom here and again on the new page. You will see options for phone and chat to open a case.
