I just recently installed my Arlo Pro. During the positioning and testing, push notification worked for motion detection.
Then the other day I realized I wasn't getting them.
I checked my setting and Push Notifications is still checked.
I then checked next to email notification and that works fine, but I'd rather push notifications.
What I've tried:
1. rebooting the phone
2. uninstalling/reinstalling the app
3. clearing the cache
4. unchecking...saving, then checking push notifications and saving again
5. created a new mode and setup push notificatons, still nothing
What else can I try? Any help is appreciated 🙂

So I did some troubleshooting over the weekend and I removed a few apps. I think one of them was the cause. It was a battery saving app that I forgot was even on my phone. I don't use them anymore or at least didn't think I still had them on my phone. Since removing that app (along with a few others), I rebooted my phone and the push notifications have been working great! Thanks for all your help and support!

Brilliant! I forgot all about the base. I unplugged and plugged back in. Gave it a few minutes to connect and walked outside. Got a notification! Let's hope it keeps it up! Thank you so much!

Well it worked that one time but the notifications haven't worked since. Could it have to do with the router the base is plugged in to? It's a Verizon Fios router. Or is a an app issue?

Very doubtful it's the router although the whole process involves connection to the server. It could well be the app or the phone - restart the phone and reinstall the app since it's easy enough to try.

I have tried that before but could again. I was also reading another post on this forum and someone suggested the idea that on their phone, when they open the app it logs them in again and thought maybe that's why notifications were working. So I have my app open and I haven't closed it yet. I just need to wait for the mailman this afternoon to see if she triggers it and it sends me a notification. I'll let ya'll know either way.

It doesn't appear that it's zoomed in on. The green box covers the entire video window.

I cleared the cache on the app, and restarted the phone. Still no push notifications. Oh and I have an android phone, Galaxy Note 5 if that makes a difference.

To be clear, you are NOT logging out of the app, right? Simply switching away using the Back or Home buttons?
