We purchased an Arlo Pro model AVM4000C (3 cameras) last week from Costco.
Using on IOS, and Win10
Base station: hardware ver VMB4000r3; Firmware: 1.9.8.0_16666
Cameras: hardware ver H11; Firmware: 1.092.0.8_17203
We setup the system yesterday, the basestation required a firmware update which we did. We installed two out of the three cameras yesterday for the first time and they both detected and alerted us on motion (at least as we were testing). However, as of yesterday early evening all motion detection and alerts stopped from the two cameras installed outside. We have checked settings to ensure we did not inadvertently change a required setting and they all appear to be the same as the 3rd camera, which we are receiving alerts for (our intention is to also install this camera outside but we are awaiting delivery of an outdoor mount). We are extremely disappointed as it's not working as intended. If anyone can provide guidance on a resolution it will be greatly appreciated.
We have a second Aro Pro system that we purchased for my son's home at the same time and we are getting ready to return it since it doesn't appear as this is a reliable system... Help !

Where are the two cameras mounted that aren't alerting? Have you read the FAQs here on best positioning, which is basically motion across the FOV, not directly at the camera and detection out to maybe 25 feet for people? Have you increased sensitivity in your modes?

I had a camera freeze up once. Live view worked but motion and notifications stopped. To fix I pulled the battery out of the camera, then put it back in and it started working like it should again. Try pulling the batteries and putting them back in.

Thank you.. Will try that, the cameras began recording motion this morning and sending alerts. We didn't change anything.. One of the cameras is installed in the back of our house on the second story facing the canal where it's pretty dark at night, yesterday we walked on the dock to see if it would trigger motion recording & alert but nothing ...
