When I use an Ethernet cable to plug my Arlo directly to the orbi, it says there is no connectivity. My phones and other items work fine on the orbi. But for some reason the Arlo isn’t.

Which version/model of Orbi are you using?

Are you running the latest FW on the Orbi? ( and Arlo base unit )

Have you tested a different cable ?

Reset the Arlo base unit?

What are the LEDS on the front of base unit showing ?

Right now I have 2 bases running off the Main Orbi 50 and a base off the satellite all woring just fine, no issues.

I have the orbi ac3000. I updated all firmware if it was needed when I installed it and the Arlo. I have the orbi plugged into my internet router. Is that correct or do I need to do something else. I followed the manual but my Arlo pro will not work unless it connected to my centurlink router instead of the orbi.

Do you actually have a second router (the Centurlink) or do you mean it's the modem?  That could be a reason for it not working when plugged into the Orbi.

It’s the internet modem that centurylink provided to us. I have my orbi connected to it and everything works fine. I have my Arlo connected to the modem but some camera signals are weak. I tried disconnecting the Arlo from the centurylink modem and connecting it to the orbi and nothing worked.

Your running the Orbi 50...

I believe your issue is the Orbi isn't properly set up as your plugging it into your current router instead of using it as the primary router ( you prob want more of just an access point )

Hooking two router together requires changes in the advanced settings

Maybe I am not understanding but the directions to the orbi said to plug it into the internet modem which I did. I followed the directions for set up. When I connect some things by WiFi to the orbi it works fine. It’s only when I try to connect stuff by cable that it doesn’t work. So what exactly are you saying I need to do to the orbi because if I disconnect it from the modem it won’t work.

Now tha you've clarified that you only have an Orbi as a router and the other device is the modem, you're doing it right.  Have you tried a different Ethernet cable and a different port on the Orbi?  Have you done much to configure the Orbi, particualrly for security, that could be causing an issue?  Blocked ports (80, 123 and 443) are an issue if youve done something that would block those for some reason.

What LEDs are lit on the base and what color?  Have you tried a reset by removing all devices in Settings, My Devices and then pressing the reset button on the base until the LEDs flash amber?
