Here is my original email to Arlo-

Hello! We were curious if sometime their would be an update towards the notification system. The main phone you apply the system too works flawlessly. However, when trying to add another phone (like my wifes who we mainly bought the security system for) it does not give them near as much access as we figured it would. She was made an administrative share user, however she can make no changes into how she wants to receive alerts etc. We called tech support and we were told the only additional mobile support you offered was if you did the "text to email" conversion such as cellnumber@txt.att.net. Which is such an inconvient tool. A new at&t number is sent every time so you cant even save the number it texts you, and if you get multiple alerts by accidental trips or cars you have just spammed your entire message inbox and have to delete every notification by hand. We have no difficulty with this on our RING doorbell device. It simply notifies her via "alert" just like it does me and gives her the option to go to the app and view. Are we looking at a better management of this or should we be possibly looking at returning this system?

Here is the answer recieved-

Response from NETGEAR
Hi Daniel,

Thank you for contacting NETGEAR Arlo Email Support.

We understand that your Arlo guest user is not receiving motion detection alerts like the main user account.

Based on the details you provided, I would suggest you edit the privileges of the Guest account user. Just refer to the instructions in the following KB article.

1) How do I add friends to my Arlo account? {Note: Make sure to do Step #7):

So I'm assuming for one we have a pretty solid language barrier going on since I have explained these steps have already been done when I said the user has been granted administrative access... Does anyone have any other ideas? Is this just my system and my wife should be getting alerts on her own account? So far the only succesful way is to have her log into my account and then we will both get alerts on our phones. Which is obviously not user friendly by Arlo either since if we both get an alert and try to sign in it will boot whoever is already on.

Finally found a helpful support agent without a language barrier. Thank you Agent: 46110!!

She explained to me your "shared administrative friend" should be fully reciving alerts as well. That cellnumber@txt.att.net is full just an added convience tool if someone perfers texts. (booo arlo phone support) I had to delete by wife as a friend completely, then not only delete my wifes app but also delete my app as well. As soon as we downloaded the app on both the devices again I made sure we were both on our own seperate accounts before she went to her email and accepted the invite. It now works perfectly.
