Since app update i am showing no plan despite being entitled to 7day cloud recording.

I tried to request reinstatement as it is 7 days storage and was told to bad as it was eol , but after stating  eol support the 7 day storage was to continue as stated by arlo, I was told yes but they wont help to reinstatement it and to try searching the help database.

If they have changed my account to no plans why can it not be changed back to the 7 day legacy recording remotely as well?

It is obvious to me, you need to pay for assistance to remove a camera from your account and add it back to revert the free cloud storage.

If you cancelled the trial before the expiry date then your reverted automatically.

No trial was agreed ro so there was no trial to cancel or allow to expire, so please tell me how I should do that?

Reinstalling the camera did nothing

Arlo offered 7 days cloud sstorage no ther plan was ever accepted or trial accepted so they changed it they can now rereveRt it back to its prior 7 day legacy account

Arlo has been slowly migrating user apps from the library page version to their new feed page interface.

Some users are forced to a free 30days trial plan as a inducement to offset the disturbance to the user.

If the trial plan expires then users loose the 30days cloud storage and additional features so to encourage the user to purchase a new plan going forward.

If the cameras are legacy the user can restore the original 7day free cloud storage by removing and restoring a camera to their account.

Since you didn't get a free 30days trial plan you may have already been restored and your app settings are missing the recording options in the camera rules.

To confirm that you have the 7day cloud storage, live stream a camera and manually make a recording and see if it shows in the feed page.

Arlo currently uses the term "plan" to mean "subscription".  If you are using legacy cameras with the free 7-day recording, then you in fact have no subscription.  That doesn't mean you aren't entitled to the free storage.

First try to make a manual recording while livestreaming one of the cameras.  If that works, you still have the free storage, but something else isn't set up correctly.  Also make sure the system mode is set to "Arm Away" or "Arm Home".  "Standby" is like the old "Disarmed".

If these steps don't solve the problem, then Arlo generally does recommend removing ONE camera from the account and re-adding it.  That triggers some sort of sync (Arlo is hazy on the details) in their cloud, that usually restores the recording functions.
