Sudden battery loss and adding a further pro5 camera

I purchased a Pro5 directly from Arlo earlier this year. It was working ok, then without warning battery level dropped from 60% to 10% to 2%. No movement or recordings were evident. Any ideas why?

 

Also, I may be mad, if the above experience is anything to go by, but I would like to add a second camera to the property. I currently just have a single camera with arlo security single subscription. If I were to add a further camera, is it just a case of upgrading to Arlo security multi camera subscription or do I have to take out a separate subscription for each camera added?

Signal strength and/or quality can cause the camera to have problems remaining connected, running down the battery. If you have more cameras, swap them around to see if it's the location or camera. If only one camera, bring it closer to your router or hub to see if that makes a difference.
