Probably time to contact Arlo support using the support center in the app, and then ask them for a warranty replacement.

Have you charged it?

Yes I have charged it with the solar panel and the one in the house it's still the same just blinking amber all the time, I have tried the factory reset and it still doesn't connect.

The solar panel is just a trickle charger to keep the battery topped off. When you plugged it in indoors, did it eventually turn the LED solid blue, indicating it's fully charged? If not, the battery is likely totally dead and needs some effort to charge it. Use this procedure - the key is to plug in and unplug many times until the battery gets enough charge to then allow it to charge normally.

Hi when I plug it in it flashes blue for a few seconds then flashes amber again, the battery is only 4 months old should it be faulty this quick it has been showing 100% charged when on the solar so strange how it just keeps loosing connection and doing this.

Slowly flashing amber means the battery is dead. During charging there should be NO LED indication. Try the dead battery procedure I supplied to see if you can resurrect it.

Managed to get it to charge and go solid blue but still won't connect when I press the reset button it goes back to flashing amber and not blue.

You may need to remove and reset it and add it back to your account again.
