Hi, Recently purchased two Pro5s cameras to add to my existing setup (mixture of older Pros and VMB4000 base). To enable local recording I have just purchased a new base station  (VMB4540).

After setting up all the cameras on the new base station, the existing cameras record to my usb drive but not the Pro5s. - I have made sure they are connected to base and not WiFi.

please help.

First, it would be helpful to know if the Pro 5s is still in the trial subscription plan (or not).

I suggest double-checking that the Pro 5s is paired with the smarthub.  Do that by pressing the smarthub tile on the devices screen, and looking at the "paired devices" list there.

If it is not paired, then you can remove the camera from the account and add it back - making sure you pair it with the smarthub during the install.

If it is paired, then try ejecting the storage using the app, and then connecting it to a PC.  Then look for local recordings.  That will let you know if your problem is recording or playback.

Your older cameras will be recording to both the Arlo Cloud and locally.  So make sure you are selecting "Local" when you look at the feed.  Note this can only be done in the app (using the primary account credentials).  You cannot see local recordings on my.arlo.com.

Thank you for your reply, finally got it working. Removed both Pro5s and re added them. Took a while but got the “local” tab on the feed screen.
