Pro 5s cameras normally show an icon in the upper left corner of the screen that says:     2K LIVE

 

After Support did some things remotely to fix a New Defective Pro 5s that would not detect motion, I've noticed that the  2K LIVE icon no longer shows.

 

It now just shows the LIVE icon as if it was a Pro2, 3, or 4 camera.

I've opened the issue with Support but while waiting, thought I'd also post it here in case others might know what's causing this...thanks.

Do you have auto track & zoom enabled?

Also, make sure the camera is zoomed out all the way.

Are you getting 2K recordings?  Or are they also 1080p?

Motion Detection is not working...It's not recording.

I've escalated to "support' again.

Have bought & lived through:

Four Pro 2 + base

Four Pro3 + base

Four Pro4 - all new defective / unusable audio problems ( turns out a known / unfixable problem).

 

Arlo tried to replace them with 4 previously owned / used / defective returned Pro4 cameras !

Then they tried to make it right by replacing them with these Pro 5s cameras.

Am very frustrated / disappointed with Arlo quality.
