I bought this Arlo Pro 5S in November and last week it started to have these red and blueish lines going through the video and I’m barely getting alerts, can’t watch it live etc. Then it stopped for a week and now it’s been doing it again for days. I’m very frustrated with this. My internet connection is solid and very very fast because I work remote from home so I need the best of the best internet speeds. So that’s not the issue. Any suggestions?

I suggest measuring the wifi upload speed at the camera location with your phone (using the free Ookla speedtest app, with mobile data disabled on the phone).
You might also try moving the camera indoors as a test, and see if the problem disappears.
The problem is either loss on the network connection (wifi more likely than internet in your case), or a problem with the camera hardware. If the camera is the issue, if you can still exchange the camera with the seller, it'd be best to do that instead of getting an RMA.

I just posted this same issue with a pro 5 camera. Mine has been up and working fine for 18 months but then starting the green and red horizontal lines recently. I have numerous other pro 5 cameras but issue is only with one camera. Did you resolve the issue with your camera? If so how?

It seemed to be the aftermarket charger that I had plugged into it all time for continuous power. I have unplugged that and it’s been fine ever since! Back to just charging the batteries separately. But as long as the lines are gone, I’m good with it!

I don’t have my camera on constant power. I have it connected to a Arlo charger that is on a smart plug that I can turn on about every 2 weeks to charge. (All my cameras have this set up….on Arlo charger connected to a smart plug that isn’t powered unless I’m charging the camera) I think the camera is failing. So my issue isn’t a cable issue….
