We can't take the housing off to install the battery Pro 5k camera. The button does not push in at all, no click, seems glued shut.  We tried silicone as suggested for ORing.  The housing will not move at all.  Terrible functionality and a waste of money

These cases are frequently problematic to remove. The lack of a click when pressing the release button indicates that the release has already been done - now it's how to get the camera out. I find that I have to shake the camera hard in a downward direction with my other hand ready to catch it when it (eventually) comes out. You could possibly use a small, slim tool between the case and camera to try to pry it out but be careful to not cause damage that would allow water to infiltrate.
