how to replace battery in pro 5s.....8 months is a JOKE...  NO BUTTONS....INSTRUCTIONS STATE TO JUST SQUEEZE THE BODY AND CAMERA SLIDES OUT.....YEA RIGHT....

There is a release button on the bottom of the pro 5s.  See page 78 here:

You often do need to (carefully) shake the camera to get the housing out of the shell. 

If it is sticking, you can get some silcone grease, and apply it to the O-ring after you get the camera out.

if there is no button on the bottom of the camera, then you must have an Essential model (not a Pro 5s).
